aces with a coordinated board
I was wondering how you folks play this. I am dealt aces in MP and raise UTG who has limped. Button calls UTG calls.
Flop is 678 rainbow, UTG checks I bet button calls and UTG drops. Turn is a 5, I check button checks. River is a deuce we check it down and MHIG. I this too weak tight? Thanks. |

Re: aces with a coordinated board
You really should bet this turn.
Having checked the turn through, you should bet the river. |

Re: aces with a coordinated board
Simple answer- You have the best hand. Bet the flop, bet the turn, bet the river.
edit: If I am raised at the turn here I call, and check/call the river. (assuming no read on the raiser) |

Re: aces with a coordinated board
Thanks for all the responses. I appreciate it. This was a 1-2 game at interpoker and very passive so I never knew what people were going to show. Holdem is really not my primary game (usually I'm in split pot games) so I might not be as aggressive as I need to be. Thanks again.

What he said.
This is clearly the way to play this hand. Failing to bet costs you in the long run.
