Default big hands play themselves, right?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

No reads on Button except that he seems tight and I haven't noticed him do anything out of line in the orbit or so we've played together.

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG+1 caps, Hero calls, MP3 calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (21 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, MP3 calls, Button calls, SB folds, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (14.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls $0.61 (All-In), Button raises, UTG+1 calls, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

River: (27.11 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players, 1 all-in)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, Button raises, UTG+1 folds, Hero ???

Hero ???

Hero bets and doesn't think twice about it. Your opponent wouldn't have AA since he didn't cap preflop and if he has TT, pay him off. I'm pushing this hand to the limit.

Yeah if he has a better hand here I'll just end up paying him off. Raise it up.

Final Pot: 35.11 BB
Main Pot: 16.94 BB, between Hero, MP3 and Button. > Pot won by Button (16.94 BB).
Pot 2: 18.17 BB, between Hero and Button. > Pot won by Button (18.17 BB).

Results below:
Hero shows Kh Kd (full house, kings full of tens).
MP3 shows 9s 8h (one pair, tens).
Button shows Ah Ad (full house, aces full of tens).
Outcome: Button wins 35.11 BB.

When Button capped the turn, I said to myself, "Self... if he has aces it's going to be expensive." No worries. Just wondered if I should have stepped off at some point.

The worst part is, bad guy trapped me for too many bets a few orbits later when my pocket queens overpair ran into his slowplayed aces on the turn. Bah. I can't seem to learn anything the easy way.

Thanks all.

Well-played. Being on the losing end of set over set is always going to cost you a lot -- just happened to be monster set over monster set this time, so it cost even more than normal.
