A lesson in how not to bluff
Alternatively titled: this is not what they mean when you hear about people "semi-bluffing".
Now the real question is... Does anyone call the river if he bets (like he's supposed to)? Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) Preflop: Pack is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Pack raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls, Flop: (8 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players) SB checks, BB checks, Pack bets, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds. Turn: (5.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Pack bets, Button raises, SB folds, Pack calls. River: (9.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Pack checks, Button checks. Final Pot: 9.50 BB Results in white below: Pack shows Ac 9c (one pair, nines). Button shows Ks As (high card, ace). Outcome: Pack wins 9.50 BB. I admit, he probably would have taken the pot with a bet on the river... am I wrong? Pack |

Re: A lesson in how not to bluff
i think its auto to call the river unless you have a good read on this player - i have a read on him given his pre-flop choice
