Of course it is impossible to answer a question like this in a vacuum. What kind of read did you have on your opponent?

My thought is I probably check the river and see if my A high is good. After the turn call I am figuring he might call you down. Do you think he will fold a hand like middle pair to another bet? I don't know for sure either way just asking. Will you call a river check (perhaps bluff) raise with A high?

I think middle pair is a good guess.
