Default TT UTG

UTG+2 came to the table and announced this was the highest limit he'd ever played. Make of that what you will but he has played too many hands, taken them too far and been quite passive.

I've seen UTG+1 be quite aggressive but back off quickly, not too sure about MP3, seems a little bit laggish without having a strong read.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, MP3 calls, 3 folds, BB calls,

Flop: (10.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls, BB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (9.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, MP3 bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls.

River: (15.25 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+2 raises, MP3 folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG+2 calls.

Final Pot: 21.25 BB
Main Pot: 21.25 BB, between Hero and UTG+2.

The more I think about it, the more I think its a great turn raise. Given the action so far, it looks like your hand is best at the moment and you did what you could to ensure it stayed that way. I am assuming you didn't plan on checkraising the turn if UTG+1 had bet so I say very good situational adjustment on your part.

j.k.

I like it Tosh, but that turn card just happened to be perfect. Do you check-raise if a complete rag comes? How do you play it if a Q comes? What about an A? I think you could still check-raise a rag.

If the bet came from the last guy then I think I would check raise a rag.

Ended up splitting with T8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Anyone else have any opinion on how to play this?
