there seems to be some names that don't belong... if this is supposed to be a megacash game, there should be guys like ted forrest, bobby the owl baldwin, chau giang and david gray in there instead of these overrated tourney players

I'm going to go ahead and say that Brunson, Chip Reese, and Chan are three of the best cash players in the world. The only tournament specialist in the field really is TJ. The others play plenty of big money cash games.

I would have liked if they'd found a way to get a woman in there, but this field will be pretty interesting...

The field is awsome. In fact, about two months ago I had a discussion with a friend about who I would most like to see play at a table togather. Seven of the eight players I wanted to see are playing at the table. I wanted to see Hellmuth because I love to see him fail, and playing at this table would certainly lead to his failing. I never considered Chip Reese, though he is an excellent selection.

Seriously, crefjohn, would you rather some sucky woman (that blonde real estate person named clooney who kept screaming and cheering for herself comes to mind) instead of Ivey, or Brunsom? Come on.

I was at the palms like june 6-10 or something like that whatever weekend days in the beginning of june or so when the triple crown race was. They were filming it then (not in the poker room of course), and a lot of people were talking about it. I saw TJ in the casino, but noone else.

This thing sounds neato. I also wish that Phill Hellmuth was one of the 8 because he's a great player, but even more so because his tantrums are entertaining.
