So I'm headed to Vegas this weekend for the first time since I've started playing poker seriously.
I have a couple of questions about the rules at the Mirage/Bellagio, where I plan to do most of my playing. 1) Is there a 4 bet or 5 bet cap per round? 2) Are there unlimited raises when heads-up? And, if so, does the pot have to be heads-up at the beginning of the betting round or 3) What's the rake structure at the mid-to-high limit games (between $10/$20 and $30/$60)? 4) Do either of these places have shorthanded tables? (assume answer is no, as I have never heard of one in a B&M casino). Any info would be greatly appreciated. |

1) 5 bets at the Mirage.
2) I think so if the round starts heads-up. Check the rules! 4) No, but you've got a decent chance of getting in a shorthanded situation in the mid limits at the Mirage. They'll keep a table running short into the wee hours even if they're only dropping the second and fourth dollars of the rake. |
