How often do you hear of bad beat stories that contain the words "quads over quads", you'd have to be retarded to get rid of this. Especially given that the board is 22888, I would be slightly more worried if it was like 22AAA, cause with the way people play online, some schmuck will probably play Ax, but let me explain, if by slightly, that means .000001% more worried. I will gladly go to the felt with quads everytime, hell I think I've only gotten them once in a home game and once online. This is up there with Sklansky's AKs 'crime against humanity' thread.

Yeah, the flop bet worked out for you, but in the long run that's not going to make you money IMO. You said there were several limping in (4? 5?), the majority of the time you'll be very, very lucky to get 2 people to call a 10xBB bet. They're going to need that 8 or some other PP for their call to make sense, and how many times are you going to have more than 3 people (you, and maybe 2 callers?) limp in with PPs.

(Sorry if this isn't very clear )

Oh, and I'd never fold that.

My thoughts exactly. If there's a bad beat jackpot, check and call the whole way down and *hope* you're beaten
