Laptop Help Needed

So I have a laptop with a wireless internet card. If I go to a hotel with wireless capability, do I need anything else, like a router? Or am I good to go?

No, you will not need a router, or anything else I can think of.

unless the hotel provides the wireless internet service for free (which only few do), you will then also have to buy a valid logon ID card from them at front desk to access it.

Also, if your laptop does not automatically recognize their wireless network, you may have to manually set the network name in your wireless network profile.
