Re: Relax Guys
Ah, I wasn't paying attention. It's only 6 bets really, 7 if BB decides to play along, but with that many people I can see it. Thanks.

Re: 20-40 Hand
Is it just me who 3 bets the flop?

Re: 20-40 Hand
it might not just be you, but it's certainly not me. the raise/checkraise combo usually indicates something along the lines of the real deal. it would almost certainly get capped, possibly drop a much-wanted customer, and put more money in if you happen to be against a bigger flush draw.

Re: Relax Guys
It really loses its value if you dont bet the river when you make your flush on the turn with no one showing any aggresion on the turn or river.

Re: 20-40 Hand
I would, too. Yes, you don't want to lose a customer, but often when they've already come for two cold they will come for two more. Plus, I might get a free card on the turn. Since this checkraise often signals a decent, yet vulnerable hand and the hero has a tight image, this could work.
The advantage to not doing that is getting two bets out of them on the turn. -Michael |

Re: Relax Guys
Eww. While I sometimes get involved in capped pots with 98s, there's no way I'm coming if I know I'm paying four bets.
