Default 3 left party 20+2 SNG

This happened to me just now and I was wondering how others would have played it.

3 left

1 maniac holds approx 60% of the chips, raises every hand and calls every raise.

me approx 25%
3rd guy approx 15%

It becomes clear that 3rd guy is in post and fold mode.

What do you do? Fold until 3rd guy goes broke or engage maniac and quite possibly go out in third.

Bankroll is a consideration (I have a decent one, not great, so $20 means something to me)

You get +$20 for second but +$60 for first vs. where you are now, so its worth gambling to get first, especially since doubling thru just once puts you in the lead. It shouldn't be that hard to do either since this guy is so aggressive.

Wait til you have a pair, any ace, or KT or better, or any suited connector 87 or higher, and push all in. For more complete advice, scroll thru old SNG posts on shorthanded play.

Note: he is not a maniac -- raising with a great many hands as the big stack in final 3 play in SNG is good strategy if you're opponents are too tight, as it sound like you and the other guy may have been.
