Default Laws on Poker Home Games and UG Casinos

Does anyone know where I can find the laws regarding home games and casinos? I know they are probably state specific, but I was wondering if there is a website out there that goes into detail about this.

(There is an underground casino 10 mins from where I attend school. AC is only an hour and a half away, but that can be a pain in the ass at times. Just wondering what legal burdens the players in such an establishment bear. Thanks.)

I am not totally sure about this, not very far into law in college yet. UG casinos I think are totally illegal without a gaming liscence. Home games are state specific, and I think that the total amount of money involved has to be over a certain amount to be illegal. Don't quote me on this, we briefly went over this in class about a year ago so I don't totally remember.
