Personally, I like the subtle "wife and (assumed) girlfriend" reference.

Eh. I had been trying to avoid mentioning them that way, since usually I get 1) preached at 2) accused of bragging or 3) asked inappropriate questions by undersocialized board members.

However, since they are both part of my regular poker game, and no one knows who "Sonya and Liz" are, it was getting difficult to communicate, so I just decided to say f*** it.

Oh, absolutely. We all live together, in fact.

My tongue-in-cheek reply referred to the "crazy swingers and their constant orgies" image some people have of polyamory. In that sense, it's not an open marriage :P
