Coin Toss
B&M down to 11 people 2 tables mines is five handed. Top 3 get paid. I am in the SB with 99. Blinds are 400/800. My stack is 5700 a little below average. Action opens with a min raise of 1600 folded to me I push. The raiser has me covered by 500. Folded to utg who calls turns overs kqo.
2 questions Should I have pushed I put him on 2 overs or waited. Was he right to call what would your calling requiments be here? Thanks |

Re: Coin Toss
i would push in your seat and fold in his. you should mention his position as a utg raise is scarier than a button raise.

Re: Coin Toss
I push here as well. The thing is imo is it is very difficult to know if someone has overcards or a bigger pair. I guess what I mean is when you "put" him on two overs you say to yourself there is x% he has an overpair, y% an underpair and z% two overs. I think with the total probabilities my call is worthwhile.
The reason I play is you are pretty short stacked and I have noticed a minimum raise means weakness more often then strength these days. I could see an argument either way, much of this is read dependent based on the raiser. |
