Default weak-tight whuss play

Since MP 3 cold called a raise, I wrongly put him on a flush draw. Should I have:

a)bet the turn, folded to a raise

b)bet the turn, and called if raised,

c)check the turn, but once MP 3 checks, bet out on the river.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Paradise Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 calls, CO raises, Button folds, Hero calls, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls.

Flop: (11 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, MP3 checks, CO bets, Hero raises, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP3 calls, CO calls.

Turn: (8.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP3 checks, CO bets, Hero calls, MP3 calls.

River: (11.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP3 checks, CO checks.

Final Pot: 11.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero shows Ad Qs (one pair, aces).
MP3 shows 5c Ac (one pair, aces).
CO shows 8s 8h (one pair, eights).
Outcome: Hero wins 11.50 BB.

Default Re: weak-tight whuss play

Advice one: forget the commentary

Preflop: I'd fold

Flop: check raise is fine, but I would have bet out. Anyone want to explain why a check raise is bettor. I know the goal is to eliminate opponents, but with TPTK - who do you want folding that will fold - that's a question; i'm on a bizzare keyboard.

Turn: I bet

River: bet

someone earlier said not to put anyone on a flush draw until they show you otherwise. Solid rule of thumb!
