Seems ok to me, AK is just 2 overcards when the flop misses, you weren't getting good odds to them anyway and could be drawing dead to an 8 and are already behind to a 3. If you have a good read on him then you can reraise to see if he really has an 8, but it's all up to you. Folding is a good play here I think.

Poor fold I think-if the guy really is a typical party player he will wait until the turn to show his eight. I think he has a pocket pair of some sort and you have six outs at least.

i'm with Haji; it's one more bet for the turn, you're unlikely to see an 8 based on standard party play.
If it was 2 cold to you i'd fold, but i'd see the turn for 1 more. Pete H. |

I'd see the turn as well. If you whiff, then you can think about folding if he bets into you again.
