Re: Quest hand #7- 55 against a LAG
[ QUOTE ]
LOL I deserve this, but When I say loose I mean he played every hand to show down and always showed. I'm talking about 83o with QK boards, etc... [/ QUOTE ] This is not how to play against a lag. He is just as likely to flip over 96o if this is the case. By all means call him down, don't go nuts without a decent hand though. |

Re: Quest hand #7- 55 against a LAG
Yah, I'm with everyone else. Sarcasm aside I think every street was misplayed. Limp pre-flop and take it from there - isolate with other hands. Pre-flop isn't horrible I just think it makes the hand very hard to play post-flop.

Re: Quest hand #7- 55 against a LAG
[ QUOTE ]
The point with raising the turn here is to get a free showdown, so if you cant fold to the 3bet, then call down instead. [/ QUOTE ] very true thanks for pointing this out. In the end this was a play against the person as he was going to the river with noting. I agree I played poorly. In the end he showed A3 for a pair of 3's, my 55 holds. I knew I played this one bad, and even surprised myself by winning. But this was a very typical play by this guy, so I wasnt totally shocked |
