Default Re: When you get check-raised, does it piss you off? (live play)

No, it doesn't piss me off at all, its part of the game. I use it when I need to and I expect others to do the same.

I know what you are saying though, sometimes people do get huffy and puffy about this (usually at the lower limits) because they don't really understand the game.

If you say you didn't see any check raising at your table, perhaps it is some kind of unwritten rule that players at that particular casino follow. But that's ridiculous.

If that's the case they need to get over it, obviously you didn't do anything wrong, I personally cannot imagine a game without check raising, so just keep doing what your doing and if they need to adjust their play they will do so.
