Default Re: Quad 10\'s

I wonder if play will be extremely looser with people trying to hit a back door quads or royal now?

[ QUOTE ]
Played a quick 100 hands at the 2/4 jackpot tables.

Average flops seen is 45% compared to 36.65% at normal 2/4 tables. Average pots were also about $10 higher than normal 2/4 tables.

Play was definately looser. 8 to the flop was not uncommon.

Of course no one even came remotely close to hitting the jackpot.

you have a slightly lesser chance of hitting it because you are playing fewer hands (an Any-Ace player can hit a royal on a board of KQJTT and beat the guy who has quad T's)

Both players have to use both of their hole cards in the hand for the jackpot to count.

i don't believe i have ever SEEN quad-10's lose...much less actually had that happen to me.
in fact, i don't think i've even had a traditional bad-beat loser or win (A's full of 10's of J's beaten) that i can recall.

i've had 3 royal-flushes in my time...but i think the odds of quad-10's beaten would have to be longer.

300$ buyin at Party, I was chip leader at the time I think, lost a big chunk of my stack when the 10c hit the river for my TT to get quads, but also for the QJ clubs to get a royal!

I have had Royal 6 times online using both cards, got screenshots to prove all of them

Don't play much do you Bob?

I wonder if they fixed that damned disconnect bug that I was complaining about the other day. Doubt it.

This approach sometimes stops the bad luck and will allow you to win again.

If this does not work, try one of these:

FWIW, I played for two hours at a couple of the 2/4 jackpot tables last night. The play was definately looser than normal and the pot averages were $5-$7 higher than I usually see.
