Default Re: Two simple hands (PP 0.5/1) - did i played bad or smth?

As far as the first hand is concerned, I don't ever like to draw to a straight with a flush draw on the board unless I have other outs such as overcards or a big card of that suit. In this case however, you were getting 6-1 on the flop to see one more card with a 4-1 shot of hitting, so I might see the turn, but would definitely fold there. There's no use DRAWING to a hand that may or may not be good. If it were a diamond that completed my straight its a judgement call.

In the second hand, I like your three-bet on the flop, unless you thought that some of those players might have stayed around for just one, but thats based on what you've seen at the table. I definitely would have raised the turn though. As far as your question about raising to eliminate flush draws, this guy was going absolutely nowhere, but a raise is still correct because you think you are ahead. No amount of raising will ever "chase" a draw out of this low limit games, but you will make money in the long run getting your money in before he makes it.
