Fold AKo before the flop here?

This is a home game with a mix of poor players with some 1/2 descent ones. $1 antes, 10/20. This is also my very first hand as I had just gotten in.

I open for $10 UTG+1, UTG+2 raises, MP1 3-bets, folded back around to me, I shrug, and fold.

I do not respect UTG+2's that much as it could mean any pair, an lower ace, Kxs, Qxs, or any suited connector down to 56s.

EP's 3-bet, however, means a good hand. We rarely see re-raises in this game before the flop let alone 3-bets. EP likes to bluff a lot on the turn and river but he's very straight-forward before the flop. He'll call with just about anything but will hardly ever raise. His 3-bet means JJ-AA, or AK.

Usually if I've been playing for awhile I'll go ahead and cap it but I just didn't feel like getting into what could have been an ugly situation right away.

Thoughts?


BTW, UTG+2 had Ah9c and MP had AKs. MP bet the whole way and was called by UTG+2 on a [Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] board.

I'm still wondering why UTG+2 called the river bet.

ive only done it once, live 3/6 with kill...

My first hand in (this casino lets you join anywhere in the orbit without posting, kinda cool) i join in MP during a kill hand so the stakes are 6/12...Killer is on button...UTG openraises (old nice looking gentleman) everyone folds to me with AKo, i look at UTG shrug and muck...everyone folded, next hand...probably not the best move EV wise, but im ok with it...

I've tried to get them to do it, but we play dealers choice and there's a few people who call 7CS.
