Posted this on the other gambling forum, but thought you guys might get a kick out of it.
Just placed a bet on Greg Raymer to finnish higher than Matt Dean at WSOP. pinnacle has "Grey Reymer" at -187$. It says in Dean's bio that he has only been playing for one year. Hard not to like that price with 60% more chips and a huge disparity in experience and probably talent. Hope I get paid when Greg Raymer wins . |

If you already have a bet on the Field at BoDogs at even money, you can bet on Dan Harrington at Pinnacle at +600 and be guaranteed to win no matter what.

I don't like Harrington's chances.

[ QUOTE ]
for the gambling impaired... what does -187 mean? [/ QUOTE ] -187 would mean that you'd need to bet $187 to win $100. If you win, you'd receive $287 back from your bet. +600 means you bet $100 to win $600, receiving $700 back from your bet. This isn't counting the vig though. I think. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken... |

Vig is included. You would only get +176$ if you liked the other side and assuming they got equal action on both sides the house would profit 11$.
I don't like having Dean right on Greg's left. |
