Default Borgata Open information (cross post in MTT)

Just got a mailing from the Borgata that they are moving the Borgata open WPT evet to September. Here is the schedule:

They are running Satellites for the 10k event now on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.


September 7-10 Super Satellites for the 10k event - $200+20
September 11 No limit Hold'em - $1000 + 60
September 12 Limit Hold'em - $500 + 40
September 13 Seven Card Stud - $500 + 40
September 14 No limit Hold'em - $1000 + 60
September 15 Limit Hold'em - $1000 + 60
September 16 No limit Hold'em - $1500 + 80
September 17 No limit Hold'em - $2500 + 100
September 18 Super Satellites for the 10k event - $200+20
September 19 No limit Hold'em 10k +300 day 1
September 20 No limit Hold'em 10k +300 day 2
September 21 No limit Hold'em 10k +300 day 3
September 22 No limit Hold'em 10k +300 day 4

I have no idea - I'd rather just drive up to AC for a couple of days. The Satellites at the Borg last year were VERY soft.

There is no rebuys or addons in these correct? The ones I'm thinking about going to are the 1000 on the 11th or 14th.

Correct - None of the events other than the multi table satellites are rebuy/addon

Default 4 day event???? how many people they expecting?

they better get more than 600 if they want to fill those 4 days.

Yes this costs 10k entry just like the wsop....but this is certainly not the wsop....

It's a WPT event. Last year we had 253.

I'm guessing they'll get about 400.

I think they are trying to get away from last year where we played till 10pm on the first day, then till 3:30am on the second.

The final table is what is on the last day and it doesn't start until 5pm.

Although from the schedule, day 3 could be fairly short - start with 27 and play unitl 6.
