Thanks Dan. At least you've got poker to watch. I've just been hitting refresh (btw- I rate like pokerpages better, because it's slower, giving me the anticipation that something might have happened. 'Voice and Gutshot are so so quick that I see nothing's happened instantly).
Least hook us upwith some chip counts. |

I'd feel better about this if he'd "been" eliminated rather than "ben" eliminated.
Sleep, sweet wonderful sleep. And GO FOSSILMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

There was a little more at the end of the Vorhaus blog/article about Greg's presto-set-checkraise hand that you all might like:
PS Go to school on this, kids: Greg Raymer has yet to see a flop. That is, he has yet to look at a flop when the cards come down. He is always -- ALWAYS -- looking at his foe, trying to pick off a tell and, at the same time, ensuring that he gives nothing away himself. I've said it before and I'll say it again: What are you looking at? If you're looking at the board instead of those looking at the board, you're looking in the wrong place. |

Marcel Luske eliminated in 10th by Dan Harrington. Dan Harrington made it $150,000 to go, and Marcel Luske called. The flop came 6c 8c Qc. Harrington checked, and Luske moved all in for $700,000. Harrington thought, checked his hole cards, and called. Luske showed 4c 4s, Harrington had Ac Jd. The turn came Jh, the river came 8s. Harrington won with a pair of jacks. After the hand, Harrington admitted that when he checked on the flop, he thought he had the ace of spades in his hand. He was about to muck, when he checked his cards, and realized he had the ace of clubs. Had he not misread his hand, he would have bet out, and Luske would have been forced to fold. Play resumes later today at 1 PM. Greg Raymer is chip leader, with about $7.5 million. The official chip count and seating arrangement will be posted as soon as it is available. |
