WSOP - the day before Final Table
John Murphy
I don't know if John Murphy was at the same bar as me last night but it seems he still hasn't arrived for day 5. Currently in fifth place with over 1.3 million in chips, he is asleep in his room at the Bellagio! At the moment he is being anted away Ante 3000 Blinds 10,000-20,000 |

From Pokerpages:

Re: WSOP - the day before Final Table
1:46 PM
Gary Jones got all in preflop with K-K against Chris Ferguson's 4-4. The board came 6-7-8-7-Q. Jones doubled up, and Ferguson is crippled, down to about $5,000. 1:49 PM Ferguson gets all in with J-4 against Gary Jones's 8-4. The board comes K-7-3-5-2. Ferguson rebounds to about $20,000. 1:51 PM Ferguson goes all in for $21,000. James Grimes and Gary Jones check the hand down. The board comes K-6-5-10-9. Ferguson shows pocket nines, having made a set on the river. Ferguson now has $81,000. One more player eliminated and we reshuffle down to 3 tables. |
