Default Weak Tight I\'m sure.

Where should I have been looking to put in another raise here. I wasn't really sure about this hand as simple as it seems. Hence I come here to get flamed so I remember it better....

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, Hero raises, Button folds, SB calls, BB 3-bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Flop: (9 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (9.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 11.50 BB
Main Pot: 11.50 BB, between Hero and BB. > Pot won by Hero (11.50 BB).

Results in white below:
BB shows Ah Kd (high card, ace).
Hero shows Tc Ts (one pair, tens).

nah, I think you played it fine. No flaming here. If you hadn't had position on him, I might have thrown away a bet on the turn as well and fold to a raise. But with position, you played it fine. Just remember to bet if he checks to you on the river.

Oh, and next time, post in the micro-limit forum, you may get more and better responses there.

I like it.

The BB is convinced he has a hand, and it is possible he has made a set, or maybe has 8-7 for a straight draw. Likely you are ahead, but there is always the possibility of JJ, QQ, KK etc...

Since he 3 bet the flop however, only a few hands make sense: A pocket pair better than yours, AK, or perhaps KQ. I think I would check raise the turn, though I don't know what I would do if it comes back with 3 bets to me.....

Not weak tight at all!

I don't like how you played it at all. You got lucky the guy was a super lAG and kept ramming and jamming his AK.

I go into passive call down mode with these players unless I knwo them well, then I get a turn raise in, ala HPFAP because if they have a higher pair, you're behind, and if they have AK or AQ or something you want them to keep bluffing. THere aren't any hands you're pushing him off that beat you by raising here.

do u mean river c/r here? I think absent a read, fear of a higher overpair is warranted here and calling down is the play...

I play the same as the poster, but am open to alternatives..
