Default Mental toughness of opponents on Stars vs. Party

Anyone else notice that the quicker format of Party tends to produce players who are less "mentally tough"? What I mean is that when I play on Stars, players seem to me to have less of a tendency to "give up" when their stacks get small, whereas Party players sometimes seem to throw in the white towel by just shoving their stack in on every hand.

Another aspect of this can also be seen when it gets shorthanded. A lot of the party players seem to resign themselves to getting into the money and totally ignore the 3 handed or heads up aspect of the game, especially if their stack takes a hit. I have found in my experience that even in the lower limits Stars players tend to very tenacious- rarely giving up even when their stacks are undersized.
