Quality Keyboard
All,
This is a bit off topic even for this zany crew, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on quality keyboards that lessen the negative long-term effects of typing. I am already experience some wrist pain and want to be able to type a few more years, anyways. Any suggestions appreciated. -Michael |

Re: Quality Keyboard
i use one of these (black color though). as you can see, it's missing a number pad and is generally smaller. this keeps you from wasting the motion over the number pad (which i literally never use) when switching back and forth between the mouse and keyboard. it is fully functional, although it may not look like it - it employs a FUNCTION key. FN-1 = F1. FN-UP = page up. etc. it also has proper, logical placement of the ctrl key where caps lock (also never used by me) normally is. caps lock is enabled with FN-TAB.
you can buy a black usb one here. a faq is here |

Re: Quality Keyboard
I'm partial to this keyboard myself, you can pick it up for under $90 from your local CompUSA.
