Default Quality Keyboard

All,

This is a bit off topic even for this zany crew, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on quality keyboards that lessen the negative long-term effects of typing. I am already experience some wrist pain and want to be able to type a few more years, anyways.

Any suggestions appreciated.

-Michael

i use one of these (black color though). as you can see, it's missing a number pad and is generally smaller. this keeps you from wasting the motion over the number pad (which i literally never use) when switching back and forth between the mouse and keyboard. it is fully functional, although it may not look like it - it employs a FUNCTION key. FN-1 = F1. FN-UP = page up. etc. it also has proper, logical placement of the ctrl key where caps lock (also never used by me) normally is. caps lock is enabled with FN-TAB.

you can buy a black usb one here. a faq is here

I swear by these:

They also have the added side effect of being able to knock out burgler with one blow. These biyatches are heavy.

I'm partial to this keyboard myself, you can pick it up for under $90 from your local CompUSA.
