Hold\'em Odds Book, Mike Petriv
Hold'em Odds Book
by Mike Petriv Has anybody heard of this book? I read a review on it a couple months ago and scribbled the name and author down on a piece of paper. I wanted to pick it up but Amazon has it for $40. Is it even any good? I would like to have a better understanding of odds.

It's been discussed lots of times. Use the search function and search all of the forums over the last year for "Petriv".
If I rememeber correctly, the reviews are almost all positive.

I read it an liked it quite a bit. It's relatively small and much of the text is filled with problems and examples. Still very good. I think $40 is too high for it. I bought it directly from Petriv and he sent out an autographed copy (I don't remember where I ordered it from). You should certainly shop around for price.
