Yes but the way the sb played he had no reason to think that he wouldn't be ahead if an overcard hit. Besides: keeping a guy that calls that river with A high in the hand is no doubt the most +EV play in the long run.

Well THAT I agree with, but, I was thinking that showed that he wouldn't fold and would just call the 3rd bet.
