Re: QJs in MP
I 3-bet
If he caps, I think i'd just check/call the river. |

Re: QJs in MP
3-bet.
If capped, check/call the river (betting and calling a raise would be good too). If called, lead the river and call a raise. |

Re: QJs in MP
He probably has AA or KK with a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] , so don't be too afraid, but i would be somewhat cautious if the river pairs or brings a 4th [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Re: QJs in MP
Sounds like a set, T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T<foo>, overpair + flush draw, or A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I think you should raise again and hope for the best.
I don't expect him to take another aggressive action with a hand you can beat, so call him down if he keeps coming. |

He thought for a minute, which told me I was dead as he feared the board pairing, and then he called. He flipped over A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I lose. I don't want to be too results oriented, but when he raised the turn, should that have set off an alarm? Or was this just a case where I had to go to war and lost to a better hand? |

Re: Results
You will lose with a queen high flush very seldom. Don't worry about it just because it happened here. He could have been rasing with many hands. I would like to have this hand <font color="blue"> top pair and q high flush draw </font> 100 times in a row.
