Brief intro and a rant.

Hello people of the Zoo, Tony Corbett here! You may remember me from such posts as, well this one since this is my first. I've been lurking for a while and thought I'd be polite and introduced myself before I join in the fun.

Quick bio, my name you know.
My age is gradually increasing at a rate of approximately one year every 365 days and as been since The Beatles visited the area.
I'm currently located on an island just off the west coast of mainland Europe, the locals call it "Home", non-locals call it a variety of things depending on their native tongue but usually refer to it as "That Place" where "They" come from.
I've been playing poker for a while now and I hope one day to play a version called winning poker. That covers the basics I think.

I know that the rule of the Zoo (there is only one right?) is to avoid posts of any real meaning whenever possible but I'm new so I'm sure you'll cut me some slack.

<rant>
I'm not a winning player, if I were to add up all my wins and take away all my losses I'd probably be "about even" give or take. The regulars here would refer to me, and I'll say this only once "a fish". I find the term offensive, insulting and downright rude. I'm not a ______ I'm a recreational player. Recreational players such as myself play for entertainment and not to pay the bills we deserve to be treated with respect since without us you guys would be poor. So next time you berate the skill of an opponent, remember he/she paid for your __________. Recreational players have feelings too.
