I thought his $2 bet was weak, and I raised there. I was hoping for the fold to be honest and shut down after that. How would you guys have played this (bet amounts would be awesome)?

Exactly the same way... you have TP/crappy kicker, the turn made the flush AND straight, and the river paired the board.... no way am I putting any more money into this pot.

personally I would call the flop, check the turn and bet the river.

Don't minimum raise, raise to $6 if he calls check it through. . .

Does he bet his draws a lot? would he slowplay a made hand on the turn?

he completes his bb and bets out so u can say trips, two pair or Q low kickeer.
I'd raise $6 on the flop and narrow his hands down or win it right there.
If he re-raises $2 I call and check/fold the rest of the hand.
If he raises $4 or more I fold right there.
If he calls and checks on the turn (I smell weakness) I bet the size of the pot and try to take it again.
If he raises I fold.
If he calls and checks on the river I check also and show down.
