This'll have to come after the storytelling patch:

Party Poker, 2/4. I've been there god knows how long. 8 other schmoes. No reads.

I find J5s in the small blind. 3 limpers to me so I toss in $1. The BB checks his option. 5 to the flop.

Flop comes J T 5 with two hearts. I've got two pair. I bet. 3 callers.

Turn is a 3 of something or other. Not a heart. I bet. 2 callers.

River pairs the T. I bet, MP3 raises, I call.

He shows the superbly played JTo. Boat, set, match. Ni han.

You can expect this patch sometime in 2006.

Super minor bug I noticed: If Hero is MP2 and you choose to hide your identity and cards, that position becomes "MPB" rather than "MP2".

html format would be nice, most forums have the option to allow html format posts, though some turn the feature off

oh one other thing that would be great to see is the whole board, would make it much easier to read

i.e. [As Qd Ts] 4c

then on the river

[As Qd Ts] 4c 3h

or at the very least a summary of the board at the bottom

So, I want to get around to factoring rake into the converter's totals, and I'm not sure exactly how I want to do that, so I thought I'd solicit some advice. The "Pot Details" option would now automatically factor in rake. Posts without this option would not be changed.

Assume a standard setup through each round. This is the end of a typical hand, on which (purely for the sake of simplicity) the rake is 2BB:

River: (36 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, CO folds, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 37 BB
Main Pot: 36 BB, won by Hero.
Pot 2: 1 BB, overbet by Hero.

The options, as I see them:

OPTION A) THE EL DORADO

River: (36 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, CO folds, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 37 BB
Main Pot: 34 BB, won by Hero.
Pot 2: 1 BB, overbet by Hero.
Rake: 2 BB

OPTION B) THE CUTLASS SIERRA

River: (36 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, CO folds, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 37 BB (-2 BB rake)
Main Pot: 34 BB, won by Hero.
Pot 2: 1 BB, overbet by Hero.

OPTION C) DIE LEBERKNUDEL

River: (36 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero bets, CO folds, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 37 BB
Raked Pot: 35 BB
Main Pot: 34 BB, won by Hero.
Pot 2: 1 BB, overbet by Hero.
