Default Ethics and EV of some plays for a house man?????

1) 7 handed 1 2 blind pot limit, I am a 25% partner in this game, BB thinks he is under the gun tosses his cards but they get nowhere near the center so e gets them back all fold to me on the button and SB folds out of turn, I raise to 10 (max raise at this point), with 94. =EV??? Ethical???

As luck would have it he called???? and flop came k94 turn 4 river 6 and he called big bets the whole way.

2) Is it ethical and or +EV for a house man to play more loose and aggresive on some situations to help the rake??? thanks

i don't see a problem with you raising on the button after its folded to you, this a play a lot of players would make with weak cards even the BB hadn't accidentally shown a lot of weakness...

Not sure about the rake question, but i will give it a go... since you are only 25% partner you will only get .25 of every dollar that is added to the rake, i would imaging with 1/2 blinds that playing LAG will cost you much more in the actual game than you will make up in increased rake...

Does everyone know you are a house man?

I have a problem with you raising if it was just to increase the rake. I would have raised in this spot with almost anything, but 94off might have been fold.

I don't like the fact that you get some minor amount back from the rake- but when you think about the amount, it would be foolish of you to base decisions on it.
