bottom set on coordinated board
Hey all,
I felt pretty good about my play/thought process here- what do you guys think? 100 PL this time. I have $330, SB $180, and EP1 $100. I limp with after 2 limpers with TT in MP. Everybody and their brother limps- 7 to the flop. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hmm... this should prove interesting. SB bets 3, EP1 raises to 10, EP2 calls. I raise to 40 (of a possible $56, I think). Now: SB min-raises to 70, EP1 calls, EP2 folds, I think a bit and call. Turn: blank. SB checks, EP pushes in for 26, I call, EP calls. River: offsuit 9. SB checks, I check. Results/thoughts in white: EP has 98 for the sucker str8, and EP scoops with KQ and the rivered str8. I was pretty confident during the hand I wasn't beat by a higher set; my only worry was that one of them had a str8 and the other had QJ, leaving me with 1 out. I figured SB had the str8, but except for the above instance I had odds to draw, and EP could have plenty of things other than QJ: nut flush draw, or Kx clubs or KQ. Cheers, -muz |
