How do people make a copy of what is on their computer screen? I've seen people post screenshots before. Just curious how is it done?

<Alt-Print Screen> will copy the active window. <Ctrl-v> will paste it wherever you'd like to place it.

Hit the Print Scrn button on your computer. Open up a photo editing program like photoshop, fireworks etc, hit file new, then CTL+V. Then just save the file on your hardrive.

In order to post an image in a forum though you need to upload it somewhere first and post a link here.

Also bear in mind that if you want to post a screenshot here, try and cut down the size of the image - we don't need to see what resolution you are operating at.
For screenshots, 500 pixels wide should suffice. Simon |
