Sure, he had outs... but god, didn't seem like he played right.

I would have played it the exact way he did.

Were you expecting him to fold?

At least you didn't get the addtional "slap-in-the-face- river-check-raise" to add insult to injury.

Sometimes you get a good hand and somebody else get a better one. Them's the breaks.

The only thing I'd really fault him for is the 3-bet on the turn. After your raise there, I think one has to accept that you have a flush. With his ten outs he has to call your raise but at some point you have to listen to what other people are telling you with their betting and you were telling him you had a flush.

Anyway, that was a tough way to lose but this guy still beats you over a third of the time (38.4 percent of the time).

But wouldn't it have been sweet if the forth queen had fallen on the turn and the 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] had fallen on the river?

That definitely would've been awesome. Sadly, I'd only get like $8 from him, lol, whereas in a casino I could probably get a lot more than 3 raises.

my first reaction without looking at the results is cap the turn and call if bet into on the river. You are going to be ahead the vast majority of the time.

Muck preflop.

Your opponent played this well. His turn 3 bet was a little much but overall he played well.

You're kidding about the pre-flop muck, right? He's getting like a billion to one back to him after posting.

Yes, it is ridiculous that you failed to cap the turn, I would not have layed off quite yet.
