B&M and \"action\" cards
This isn’t a whiney bad beat story. I simply want to relate these three hands I witnessed this afternoon.
First time I ever played at the Plaza. 4/8, I won’t go into the details of the play of the hand or the type of players involved (I’ll leave that to ya’lls imagination). These three hands all happened in the course of about 2 hours HAND #1 Flop: 9c 10c 10x Turn: 7c River: 10x I had AA All opponents left at the river showed: KK, QQ, 99, 66 HAND #2 Flop: 6 4 9 rainbow Turn: 9 River: K I had KK All opponents left at the river showed: 66, 44 HAND #3 Flop: Q99 rainbow Turn: brick River: J I had 99 1 opponent left at the river (????) didn’t show, the other did show (obviously): Q9s I’m not posting this for analysis. I’m just posting this as evidence that after enough hands, eventually, weird stuff will always happen. Sometimes it will happen in rapid succession. These hands occurred within about 2 hours of each other—around 60 hands. I know that many days I will play 1200-1500 hands online. I see tons of weird stuff happening. I see tons more of normal stuff happening. The major sites do not generate “action” cards to increase rake. I know that just because weird stuff happens in B&M games too does not prove that sites don’t manipulate cards. What I am saying, however, is that no matter how many weird story anecdotes can be extracted from on-line play, this does nothing to show that sites are generating “action” cards. |

[ QUOTE ]
HAND #3 Flop: Q99 rainbow Turn: brick River: J I had 99 1 opponent left at the river (????) didn’t show, the other did show (obviously): Q9s [/ QUOTE ] The others are harmless enough, but even I would have to cry foul this time. |
