NLHE at Foxwoods
I was at the Borgata Wed Night and they had a 60-300 (min-max buy-in) NLHE game with 1/2 Blinds. Does foxwoods do this? Do they limit the max amount? I'll be there tonight hoping to get in.

Re: NLHE at Foxwoods
I was there yesterday and they were spreading a NLHE game, min $200 buy in. As far as I know, there is no max buy in. Most players looked like they had $500-$800 in front of them. I have seen that game before on the weekends with $1000+ in front of each player.

Re: NLHE at Foxwoods
I was at Foxwoods in February, and played in this game. It was a $200 min buy-in 5/5 blinds no-limit game. Once it got past the blinds, it basically played as a green chip game, so a $200 buy-in is going to be thin, I think a more reasonable minimum buy-in is $500 to $1,000.

Re: NLHE at Foxwoods
I play the Foxwoods NLHE table pretty regular. Regardless of weekends or weekddays, the game can be big. Stacks range from guys that sit down with the min $200 or $300 (depends on who started the table), and guys with 1k or 2k, occaisionally a 10k or more bankroll. Most common is about 1k+ so that when you get that big hand you can win some money.
The action can be hot. Couple of regular big stacks love to play (Frenchie, the Jewler etc...). It can also get tough when it turns into 8 decent regulars fighting it out. Good Luck! |
