Dr. Al Kicks Butt at WPDG Tourney
Someone has to do it so it may as well be me.
Dr. Al, AKA/ Alan Schoonmaker won the first annual WPDG Limit Hold'em Tournament today in Vegas. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] He beat 19 TOUGH players and I am very, very, proud of one of Babe's Best Boys. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img] WAY TO GO, ALAN. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Well it's not that surprising. Out of three home tournaments he participated in with me and my buddies, he won one outright and split one with me.

Also a very good showing by Roy Cooke who came in 2nd. I'd hate to be at that table trying to out fox those two. H.B.

I'm glad that you and others I don't know well played in our little tournament. Our group always welcomes new members. We hope to see you tomorrow (March 17) at our third anniversary lunch. We're meeting at 2 PM at The Gold Coast buffet. Babe, Howard, and all of us will welcome other 2+2rs. There are only two requirements. You have to love poker and be friendly. You do NOT have to be a high limit player, a pro, or even a wannabe. Regards, Al
