Bellagio 60-120
Off to Vegas this friday for March Madness. Generally play at Commerce (which has a heck of a lot better games than Vegas), but this weekend it should be full of tourists with money to burn. Not a big fan of the Mirage (and the 40-80 doesn't get off all the time anyhow, right?), so I'm thinking I'll camp out at the Bellagio 30-60 and 60-120. Anyone know anything about the 60 game? I've never talked to someone who has played in it (at least more than once), and wonder what some impressions are. Also, any LA regulars who have played in the Bellagio 30 game, if you could compare it to the Commerce 30 or 40.
Thanks, ZG |

Re: Bellagio 60-120
They almost never spread 60-120. Its 80-160 or 30-60.

Re: Bellagio 60-120
Odd, I've seen it spread on a few different occasions. Haven't been there in about 8 months though.

Re: Bellagio 60-120
I think they had 60-120 going for a while last summer or fall.
I didn't notice the 40-80 going at the Bellagio on either Friday or Saturday this past weekend. Before that, it ran the previous two weekends. |

Re: Bellagio 60-120
I've played the 30-60 at the Bellagio 3 times over the past 5 years or so. The game was the same every time. Much tighter and less aggressive than the Commerce game. And this was, all three times, on a weekend night during a big trade show. (I generally play Commerce during the day mid-week.)

Re: Bellagio 60-120
Why do you play Commerce during the day mid-week? I've only played on weekends since I work all week long, but I imagine the games are quite different. I play with all the gamblers who are just looking to have some fun for a few hours on their off days. You play with the people that don't have other jobs and are playing for a reason that isn't necessarily entertainment only. Why not play when all the action junkies are there on the weekends? I would imagine the games are far more profitable that way.
If I was playing poker purely for income, I imagine I would mostly play saturday mornings from midnight - 8am and sunday mornings from the same times. When you're playing against drunks and people stuck a ton who "want to make it back," your edge goes way up. |

Re: Bellagio 60-120
Hi Zero:
I've played the game some. It's usually $80-$160. But sometimes the $80 game gets kicked up to $100-$200 and that's when a $60-$120 gets started if they have the tables. As for game quality, it can vary a lot depending on who's in the game. best wishes, mason |
