Re: TEC @ ub
A TEC is a "tournament entry chip" worth an entry to a $100 buy in tourney plus a small amount of cash credited to the players account (I think $10) to cover the tourney rake. It can only be used as an entry but can be combined with more TEC's or cash for higher buy in tournaments. It's not redeamable for cash itself.

Re: TEC @ ub
TEC's are earned in a couple of ways. There are sit n go tourneys that payout in TEC's. $11-10 person sit n go pays 1st place only a TEC, $22 entry-10 person pays 1st and 2nd and so on. I think there are some 6 person sit n go's that also pay TEC's. They also have some low $ entry regular tourneys that pay in TEC's, mostly $3 and $5 rebuys with the number of payouts/TEC's based on entries plus rebuys plus add-ons.
