INTERCASINO
For those of you that know, when you deposit money into your poker account, they also give you 80 dollars free to gamble in the casino.I as I'm sure most people just blow it off in a heartbeat. You have to wager the 80 dollars 20 times over,at which point the money is yours.I guess they figured out long ago, that if the player wagers it 20 times, they are usually broke by the end of that.It is still fun ,especially for a poker player who is busy playing rock solid and never really getting a good old fashioned cahnce to gamble. So guess what just happened to me.I somehow built it up & then kept playing thinking that soon it will be blown like always, but I just cashed out 3,ya,that's 3000 dollars. Not bad for an 80 dollar gift, with no chance of losing..............Unbelivable !!!!!!!!!

Re: INTERCASINO
I still believe that since this bonus has value to you (ie. you can spend the 8 hours or so betting $2 a hand and expect to walk away with $80 on average) that you still gambled with something that had value.
The good news is that playing $2 a hand for 8 hours is extremely boring compared to making big bets with money that has been given to you with a few strings attatched. Larger bets increase your hourly EV as well as your Risk so you are more likely to go broke, but if you get lucky you could make a score. If you don't feel like taking the time to make the minimum bet to clear it, then why not gamble it up, after all, it is free money. |

Re: INTERCASINO
Tonight, after a great day of poker there, I decided to try to get the $100. I followed all the "cards" rules. I increase my bets while winning. I bet in $5 intervals 5-10-15-25.
Here are my stats: 1 hour and 35 minuts 169 Hands --> 79 Wins - 74 Loses - 16 Pushed $184.50 Profit (+100 Bonus) Total Bet: $2001.00 Better than last month where I lost $140 in order to get the $80 bonus. |

Speaking of Intercasino, is anybody else having problems downloading the new software? It starts downloading but just as it is ready to complete it gives me an error.

Gonzo -
I got the error at the end of the download too. I closed and reopened the software and the upgrade was working fine, despite the error message. SF |

FYI, although i don\'t know if it is related

I closed and reopened the software and the upgrade was working fine, despite the error message. <font color="green">DDOS ATTACKS CONTINUE Online casinos and poker rooms in the firing line Undeterred by several successful rebuffs, the Eastern European and Brazilian extortion attacks continued this week. The targeted sites preferred to remain anonymous but reported attempts to extort "protection" money followed by the usual attempts to swamp sites and render them inoperable. Over on the sportsbook side of the business, BetWWTS is reported to have paid the crooks off to the tune of $30 000, but most others were taking a tough line against the threat. Several casinos and poker rooms, including Harrods Casino and Cryptologic's InterCasino, InterBingo, InterCasinoPoker and VIP Casino went down. Affiliates of these operations were emailed, "As you are probably aware we are experiencing a DDoS Attack from an external source. Presently this is effecting the PartnerLogic website and all our client Casino websites (InterCasino, InterBingo, InterCasinoPoker and VIP Casino), all of which are currently down." Gangs of computer crooks allegedly operating out of Eastern Europe have collected protection money from 10% to 15% of the companies they have threatened, says DK Matai, executive chairman of security company MI2G. According to USA Today most issue ultimatums in e-mail messages in the days leading to major sporting events, such as the Super Bowl. Often, threats are issued after an attack, demanding that American currency be sent to a Western Union office. With the key March Madness betting frenzy in the USA fast approaching, more attacks can be anticipated. BoDog in Costa Rica was forced to pay more than $20,000 last fall when hackers immobilized its site, says Rob Gillespie, the company's president. Since then, it has fortified its site with security products from Riverhead Networks and other tech firms. It withstood a hack attack during Super Bowl weekend.
