Default EBAY Chips - FWIW

For what it's worth I found out that the Chinese manufacturer's of these metal clunkers are charging .03/chip for orders of 1 million pieces ($30,000).

So the guys on ebay are selling them for say $100 for 500 chips are making out pretty good (.17/chip roughly).

So if you had $30,000 and felt like selling a million chips you could make a cool $170,000 profit - not too shabby.

Albeit it is probably late in the game to order a million of these things and sell them on ebay as eventually the market will dry up.

A million chips..that's one large case! btw, I think the profit would be $140k not $170k, which is still awesome. G$

1st only one seller in the US is buying that many chips in one order. The rest are buying from a wholesaler, that is selling at a much higher price.

2nd. The cost isn't as low as you think. There are shipping fees, import duty fees, there is an agent fee, etc.

3rd, The mnfg. you mention isn't the only mnfg. there are at least 2 others and there are other deals out there.

The $170 figure was $200k gross - $30k cost of chips. Although there are foreseeable costs that could run into the high $$ range. Heck even if it is $100k that aint bad.
