Default Playing KK against paired board

Paradise .5/1 I have KK in MP. I raise and get several callers. The flop is 7-7-blank. I don't think this is the greatest flop. It is checked to me, I bet and get check raised. I put the check-raiser on the other 7. Is this a fold or complete and see what develops on the turn?

Maybe he has the Blank for twopair, maybe he has some pock pair for twopair, maybe he likes to bluff on paired board.
A little more detail would be nice. Without that I would 3Bet.

What sort of detail? I had no read on this particular player and suspected the 7 but couldn't be sure.

What position was the checkraiser in, what exactly was the blank.

I dont understand why you say you suspect he has a 7. You have no read on this player, you cant suspect anything. You are simply putting him on the best likely hand based soley on his raise. If he had bet out before you, instead of checking, would you then put him on the 7?

You simply have no read in this situation. His check raise may mean he has a 7, it also may mean he has 92o, it also may mean he has a AA. Not to mention the hand detail is fairly incomplete. Without knowing how many have called your bet and now have to call another bet, or how many have to cold call 2, or how many have folded, its hard to tell what to do. There could be a silent player in this game slowplaying a 7 hoping to let you two hide his hand.

However your two options here are probably
1. Call and see what happens on the turn.
2. 3 bet and see what happens.

Three bet and see what he does then.

I think the question is why did you suspect they had the 7? There are a myriad of other possibilities. Without details like position and how they called the raise (from the BB, EP limp and call)it's hard to say.

Folding to a check raise with KK on a board that, to me, doesn't seem that bad seems weak without any more info about the player. I'm going to play my Ks more aggressively than that.
