Default jumping ship on the river-problem hand?

I have been noticing that I give up easily on the river lately when I think I am outdrawn, this is just one example of my wimpy play. How bad does this hurt your game?

looks like he had two pairs, but if you felt that the odds of beating him were greater than 11/1 then it is worth calling. it's marginal but I probably would have called this unless my opponent was tight

It looks to me like your opponent picked up two pair on the turn or maybe a flush draw to go with his weak pair. I suppose he could also have been slow playing a big hand. The thing is, I don't think that four on the river beat you. If you got outdrawn in this hand, I think it happened on the turn. Since you called on the turn, I think you should probably call the river. Even if your opponent filled up on the river, you were behind on the turn so if you were going to fold I think that would have been the time to do it.

Most people checkraise a strong hand here, call him.

I agree...definite call on the river. If you are that sure you are beat, then fold on the turn. If this is a typical micro limit game, then I would say a good drawing hand is just as likely as someone holding onto a 4. I'd say there is much better than a 1:11 chance that you win this pot.
