Default Head scratcher..

PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, MP2 folds, CO 3-bets, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (14 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, CO raises, SB calls, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (10 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets, SB calls, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, SB calls, Hero caps, CO calls, SB calls.

River: (25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO bets, SB folds, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 27 BB

Now what did that CO have? A2h. WTF he raised preflop with A2 of hearts and caught a flush on the flop!!! This is a great time to start bitching about fixed software

Looking back on my play, possibly shouldve capped preflop, but Queens scare me when raised behind - especially out of position, and the cap on the turn was horrible after I all but showed him the Q set and he didnt care. I wanted to fold on the river, but with the pot size what it was, well you know.

It didnt matter if he held A2 hearts or AK hearts. He hit the flush.

I might have capped preflop.

I like how you played the flop turn and river.

I most likely would have bet the river so I would have lost one more big bet.

The only mistake I see is that you didnt fill up.

Why?? Hero has been raised on every single bet he has thrown out including the proverbial show of power...i.e. the turn check-raise. It looks very obvious the villian has the flush. I would check call the river here. I think the hero played this hand marvelously despite the outcome. I even agree with calling the 3 bet rather than capping PF although I think that is more game dependent and prolly doesn't matter too much either way.

The villain could also have had A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and played it as strong.

I believe hero capped the the turn.

Both statements are true. However, even though hero capped the turn, he did so after check-raising and being 3-bet. To me that smells of a made flush although I agree an aggressive player could play A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] that way

At low-limit online poker, I can't imagine CO not haveing a hand that beats our hero. At least, not often enough for me to want to bet the river.

I would have folded when bet to on the flop - nobody has suggested this - would that be a bad play?
