alright, heres my deal, ive caught a bad run of cards lately, and feel like doing some bonus whoring to get my bankroll back up. First off, is this really unethical? Am I a complete dick for taking advantage of this? and if the answer is no to that, then i have a list of poker sites that have deposit bonuses:

these sites i looked at, but could not find initial deposit stuff:

I play at pokerroom, so i didnt use that one. so, now im wondering if there are any im missing, or do you know if the other ones offer a bonus, and if you play at these sites maybe you can private message me and get a refer a friend bonus

World Poker Exchange has a 20% bonus right now (max $100).

Currently working on it right now! Only took a few days at .50/$1.

Pokerstars doesn't specifically have a newcomer bonus, but you can earn a 20 perscent deposit bonus on any deposit up to 600 bucks deposited through the 15th of february. I don't know how hard it is to earn the bonuys compared to other sites but if you play any amount of poker at limits higher than .25/.50 its not particularly onerous to make it.

Of the sites you listed, Party is the easiest to clear, second is Paradise. Party has 2 deposit bonuses if you use neteller for your first bonus, and igmpay with code "igmpay" for your second bonus, combined they can be worth up to $200. Paradise has a initial deposit bonus, then a recurring bonus for every deposit on Sundays on February.

If you go to the internet forum and pose this same question, some affiliate will probably offer you an additional bonus on top of the deposit bonus if you sign up through them.

I was thinking about posting about this topic. I just started playing online poker, and was wondering to what extent I should be exploiting this option. My first buy-in at party poker for $200 earned me a $40 bonus after about 6 hours - but I have gone on to play probably another 20 hours on top of that. I feel really stupid for not depositing enough to get max bonus; why play for "free" when you could get paid to play? Of course, I could now go around to other sites, but there is a downside: I like party, the game is reputed to be the most profitable around, I've got my money there, I've got my poker tracker working for it, etc. If I signed up for some other places I'd need to keep track of where all my money is, I'd have to sign up for new cash transfer avenues, I'd have to figure out how to get hand histories to my comptuer and then into poker tracker, I'd have to devise some system for cashing out. I'd have a bunch of software on my system, which for some reason seems odd (I don't have 8 email apps, or 6 web broswers!). And I have to worry about which site will cash out fast and/or research if there is some complaint issues with the site.

It seems like such a hassle - OK, maybe not a huge hassle, but there's definately a deterrant there. do most people whore, whore and whore some more? Or do alot of people just say F-it, and hang at the one site they like best?

Are Party's bonuses for current players? Where can I get info on PP's deposit bonuses?? Went to their site and can't find anything.

They have a regular first time deposit bonus, and a separate IGMPAY bonus which is to promote their in-house e-check system. You can take advantage of this bonus the first time you deposit using IGMPAY, even if you already have an account there.

As far as the hassles are concerned, I think it's really worth while, especially microlimit players. If you're a winning 0.5/1 player, you win 2bb/hr roughly. Yet most of these bonuses clear at 4BB-6BB/hr rate.
