Default AKs on a scary flop

Game has been loose but occasionally aggressive. MP2 is a little weak. I've won a few hands at this table with premiums.

Party Poker 0.50/1 (10 handed)
Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and is MP2

EP2 limps, Hero raises, MP3 calls, CO(poster) calls, Button folds, SB folds, BB folds, EP2 calls

Flop(10 SB): K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

EP2 checks, Hero bets, MP3 raises, CO 3-bets, EP2 folds, Hero calls, MP3 calls

I bet out here and it comes back two more to me. I'm surprised by the action, and without really thinking, I hit the call button.

Turn(14 BB): T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Hero checks, MP3 checks, CO bets, Hero folds, MP3 calls.

The more I think about this hand, the more I dislike my turn fold. Once I call the 3-bet on the flop, I figure that I'm committed to the pot yet I fold on the next street. Is this the correct way to think?

How should I have played this?
